  If you go there, count your change. This grouchy manager gave me $3 in change for $100. The bill for food was about $15. Before I gave him the $100 I asked him if he could break the bill and showed it to him. He nodded yes.
  
  When I told him I gave him $100 bill he denide it. I made him check the cash register and there was my $100. He said it was a mistake and gave me $60 plus the $3. That means he charged me $37 instead of $15. Unfortunately, I was so shocked, I didn't catch his second mistake.
  
  This place is old, and very tired. The new management has made it worse. You pay for your food in one location in the restaurant and then you have to pay another person for you drink.
  
  The food is at best, mediocre.
  
  I'm not telling you this guy is crooked, but if you must eat here, count your change. As for me, a customer of Alpine Inn for many years, I don't trust the new management , the place is grubby and I won't go again.
